The surge protection prevents spikes in energy caused by storms and electrical power surges from reaching sensitive medical equipment in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Designed for use in patient care vicinities, the MPV615S is UL2930 listed. The MPV615S provides 1560 joules of protection, has 6 medical grade outlets with safety covers, a 15 foot 12AWG power cord, and a heavy duty medical grade plug.

Additional features of the MPV615S include automatic shutdown, fireproof metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology, an EMI/RFI noise filter, keyhole mounting slots, and impact-resistant casing. This surge protector comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty and a $150,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee.
